ISLAND MOUNTAIN ESTATES 1848 extends across the two companion sites — twin worlds that speak to one another, each offering a different doorway into the life, heritage, and sensibilities of IME 1848. Together, they form a living universe: One-part journal of ideas, reflections, and stories; one part mercantile of heirloom goods, botanical traditions, and seasonal creations. They are separate experiences within the same great estate, each designed to be explored, revisited, and discovered anew.

Across these spaces, our world family is invited to linger, learn, and feel a sense of belonging. In the IME Journal, you’ll find the rooms of thought — essays, inspirations, histories, quiet philosophies, and the beauty of daily life. In the IME 1848 Mercantile, you’ll find the rooms of making — collections, seasonal curations, recipes, teas, coffees, spices, images, and the small rituals that elevate home and table. As our world grows, so too will the ways you can take part: From curated experiences and heritage-rooted instruction to the unfolding of our own music catalog.
